John Floridis hosts a holiday retrospective edition of "Musician's Spotlight," featuring music by artists who have appeared on the show during the past two decades. You'll hear music by Bela Fleck and the Flecktones; Derek Trucks with McCoy Tyner; NewGrange; John Gorka; Jerry Douglas; Alison Krauss with Natalie MacMaster; Karan Casey; and The Indigo Girls with Brandi Carlile. Pour a glass, light a fire in the fireplace and enjoy this tribute to the season with John Floridis and "Musician's Spotlight."

Dolce Canto began in 2001 with eight friends who missed the a cappella compositions they'd studied and performed together in high school and college. On a whim, they decided to gather and read through some works. One public concert led to another.

John Floridis, host of "Musician's Spotlight" holds his second consecutive EB award for Non-Commercial Radio Program of the Year from the Montana Broadcasters Association.

This past weekend, Musicians' Spotlight was selected as the Radio Non-Commercial Program Of The Year by the Montana Broadcaster's Association. James McMurtry was the featured guest on this year's winning episode.

This is the second year in a row that Mspot has taken home this award.

Join John's friends and collegues at a memorial party, Tuesday, August 25 from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. at Missoula's Bonner Park. Celebrate and remember John's life with music, dancing, and a spaghetti feed for all.

In 2005, a harrowing near-death experience helped sharpen Cohn’s musical focus.
