President Donald Trump called out Montana Senator Jon Tester today on national television in the wake of the President’s pick for VA Secretary withdrawing his nomination.

On Wednesday Tester, a Democrat running for a third term in November, released a two-page list of allegations against Admiral Ronny Jackson. Tester said they came from 23 active duty military personnel and veterans who served with Jackson, none of whom were identified, because, Tester said, they feared retribution.

Montana's new campaign disclosure law has survived its first test, with a federal judge rejecting arguments that it unconstitutionally interferes with the free speech of groups that want to influence elections without revealing where they get their money or how they spend it.

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — An exhausted Congelese family of six experiencing culture shock has arrived in Missoula, the first of an anticipated 100 east African refugees expected to be resettled in Montana over the next year, a resettlement agency official said.

Bullock, Gianforte Agree on Billings Debate

 Montana’s gubernatorial candidates are scheduled to debate in Billings in September. The campaigns are working to confirm other debate offers.

Eric Hyers, campaign manager for incumbent Steve Bullock, says the Democrat looks forward to showing Montanans the contrasting visions each candidate has for Montana.

“Mr. Gianforte fundamentally wants to change all that makes Montana great,” Hyers says. “We think that’s a contrast that’s very apparent to anyone who watches these debates.”
