"3,000 Years of Ancient Ireland’s Music and Instruments" is the title of Simon O’Dwyer and Maria Cullen O’Dwyer's lecture at 8pm on Thursday, September 19th in the Dennison Theater at the University of Montana-Missoula, and on Friday, September 20th at 7:30pm at the Butte-Silver Bow Archives in Butte.

"Front Row Center," Sunday, September 15th, 2013: Michael Marsolek talks with Jesse DeVine, Artistic Director of the Whitefish Theatre Company, about the start of the 2013-2014 WTC season.

Coming up: Liverpool Legends, Sept 20 & 21, 7:30pm at the Whitefish Performing Arts Center; "Noises Off," Oct 10-12 & 18-19 at  7:30pm  and Oct 13 &  20 at 4pm, O'Shaughnessy Center; Runa, October 25 at 7:30pm, O'Shaughnessy Center.

The 59th Season opens with Governor Steve Bullock narrating the powerful words by and about President Lincoln in Copland’s Lincoln Portrait. This spirit of Americana is coupled with maverick Charles Ives’ Symphony No. 2, complete with gospel tunes, American songs, and barn-dancing fiddles. The season opener culminates with Beethoven’s revolutionary testament in THE groundbreaking and mighty Eroica Symphony. The evening concludes with a dessert reception in the Helena Civic Center Ballroom.

"Front Row Center," Sunday, September 1st, 2013: Michael Marsolek talks with Traolach O'Riordain, Director of the Irish Studies Program at The University of Montana, about the Fall 2013 Irish Music Concert Series hosted by the Friends of Irish Studies of the West.

Michael Marsolek talks with Daryl Struermer, guitarist and songwriter, who has worked with the likes of Phil Collins and Genisis, about the Crown of the Continent Guitar Workshop and Festival, which runs from August 25 – September 1, 2013.

Michael Marsolek talks with John Zoltek, Music Director of Glacier Symphony and Chorale, about the sixth annual Festival Amadeus, August 4-10 in Whitefish, MT. Eight guest soloists will perform chamber and orchestral music over seven nights with the Festival Amadeus Orchestra, kicking off with the free Open Air Concert in Whitefish's Depot Park, Sunday, August 4th, 7:30-9:30pm.
