Where Do I Sleep? A Pacific Northwest Lullaby

Where Do I Sleep?
Andrea Gabriel
/
Sasquatch Books

Where Do I Sleep? is a board book filled with animal paintings by Andrea Gabriel: gray whales, sea otters, bald eagles, blacktailed deer, gray wolf, brown bat, cougar, garden spider, and red fox. Jennifer Blomgren has written a four-line poem for each baby animal.

"Where do I sleep?
Just offshore in a bay,
I rest on the surface
and dive when I play."
(gray whale)

Entertaining and educational. The poems are fun to read in a sing-song voice and the pictures show kids what real animals look like. No cartoon critters here!

The 6 1/2 by 6 1/2-inch size makes it easy for small hands to grab and hold on. The sturdy board pages hold up well as children learn to turn pages.
