'Snowize and Snitch': Logan Reviews

Snowize and Snitch, a book for young readers written by Karen Briner is an exciting book that captured my attention as I read. The main character is Ever, a girl who doesn’t know who her parents are. Ever is courageous, smart, and compassionate.

In the beginning of the story, Ever travels to find out who her parents are. In the middle of the book, she meets Snowize, a forgetful man who doesn’t like any words that bear even the slightest resemblance to the word “forget”, and that includes the word “four”, if you were wondering. Ever also meets Snitch, a rat who is about the size of a cat and talks in sign language. He is genetically modified and super intelligent. Snowize and Snitch end up as a spy or detective team trying to help Ever find her parents and save the world.

I liked this book and think that if you are interested, you should read it. I found out lots of interesting things from the book. For instance, when I first read it, I didn’t know that such as a thing as a rat that can get to be as big as a cat could even exist – if such a thing does. If there is a sequel, I will totally read it. I would love if people read this book. I would recommend this absolutely amazing book for 3rd grade and up, or anyone interested in spies. The genre of the book is fantasy.

Logan H. Wilson is a 10-year-old boy from Missoula, Montana. He loves reading, of course, and is rarely seen without a book. His favorite authors include J.K. Rowling, Tolkien, Brian Jacques, and Christopher Paolini. The Eragon books are one of his favorite series. In addition to reading, he is a serious rock hound who likes looking for crystals and collecting interesting rocks.  He is also interested in art and chemistry.
