Prehistoric Music of Ireland

Michael Marsolek

"Front Row Center," December 22nd, 2013:  "3,000 Years of Ancient Ireland’s Music and Instruments" was the title of Simon O’Dwyer and Maria CullenO’Dwyer's September 2013 lecture-demonstrations in Missoula and Butte. The O'Dwyers spoke with Michael Marsolek about their passion for the musical archaeology of Ireland - horns, trumpets, bells, whistles and pipes made of iron, bronze and wood, some of them more than 4,000 years old.
