Northwestern Energy CEO says dams purchase ultimately good for consumers

Northwestern Energy

Northwestern Energy announced last fall it wants to purchase eleven hydroelectric dams from PPL Montana.
It's now in the process of proving to regulators that the $900-million-dollar deal is in the best interest of consumers.
Northwestern is the state's largest electricity provider.

C.E.O Bob Rowe was in Missoula today and stopped by Montana Public Radio's studio to talk with Edward O'Brien about the deal.

Edward O’Brien first landed at Montana Public Radio three decades ago as a news intern while attending the UM School of Journalism. He covers a wide range of stories from around the state.
