New timing for Montana Evening Edition

MTPR's news department is in trusted hands, with Edward O'Brien serving as Interim News Director. The station is working to hire both a new News Director and Capitol Bureau Chief.  To cope with the slim staffing, there will be a few temporary changes to Montana Evening Edition

"There will not be a nightly in-depth feature interview," says O'Brien, "it just isn't possible to produce that lengthy feature without more staff." The evening news will be slightly shorter, and National Native News will air at the end of Montana Evening Edition.

Here's the new timing:

Montana Evening Edition will begin at 5:32 p.m. and end after the local commentary at 5:53 p.m.  National Native News will move to 5:54 p.m. and then All Things Considered will resume at 6:00 p.m. as always.
