Karla Theilen the director of the Montana Book Festival preview's the upcoming festival in Missoula. Theilen says the festival has, "kept true to some of the traditions ... in celebrating Montana's celebrated literary figures, and ... moved to another level and introduced a little bit more diverse programming, not just in the types of authors, but also in the types of events we're putting on."

Pie, Whiskey And A Literary Death Match At The Montana Book Festival
The Montana Book Festival celebrates storytelling under the big sky with over 100 events and 200 authors. Executive director Rachel Mindell says it's difficult to choose what she is looking forward to the most. From the Literary Death Match with four authors and three celebrity judges to a Pop-up Book workshop, there's something for everyone. The festival runs from September 20 - 25 in Missoula.
