Miles Netzer served with the U.S. Marines from June 2002 through July 2011. He deployed several times to multiple theaters. His parent unit was VMGR-352, a squadron. The unit's planes conducted air-to-air refueling on helicopters and jets, ground refueling of helicopters and vehicles and aerial delivery of supplies, people, illumination and "pretty much anything you can think to throw out the back of an airplane."
