The Montana Super Skippers have begun their fall season at Rattlesnake Elementary gymnasium and they invite anyone over the age of five interested in learning more about jump rope to enroll that day in a 6-week, $60 "Club Jumping" session. Competitive members of the team compete in both single-rope and double-dutch event and are eager to teach what they have learned to others. Some members of the team can jump at speeds of over 80 miles per hour and perform intricate, powerful and complicated moves in their freestyle events. A 40 year old, 100% volunteer run organization, the Montana Super Skippers love sharing healthy living, leadership, sportsmanship, team work and jump rope skills with Missoula. "Club Jumpers" meet once a week to have fun while learning the skills, confidence, and the health benefits of jump rope. More dedicated jumpers form a “Tournament Team” that meets seven or more hours each week to learn how to spin, twirl and jump for Regional, National, and International competitions. They are a regional leader, achieving a high level of recognition national and international competitions.
