Six-Legged Friends Visit 'Pea Green Boat'

Today on "Pea Green Boat" Annie had special guests from  the Missoula Insectarium. Glenn Marangelo joined the show to talk about insects, and he brought some six-legged friends with him.

Blue death-feigning beetles live up the their name. They have a bluish tint, and when they feel threatened, or get nervous on the radio, they play dead.

Glenn and Annie also talked about wolly aphids. They're tiny, wax colored insects that could be mistaken for snowflakes. See more pictures of the insects they talked about here.
