An amazing lineup of musical artists and performers are coming to Butte, Montana July 7-9. More than 20 groups representing a broad diversity of musical and cultural traditions will perform on the festival's six stages in Uptown Butte.

Click on any marker on the map below to learn more about the performers coming to the 2017 Montana Folk Festival. And don't forget you can tune in to Montana Public Radio for live music and backstage interviews from the festival Friday and Saturday night starting at 7:00 p.m.

The Montana Folk Festival features performances and demonstrations by over 200 of the nation’s finest musicians, dancers and craftspeople, including a dance pavilion dedicated to participatory dancing, a family stage with performances appealing to children of all ages, and a Montana folklife stage.

Admission is free to all performances during the three days of the festival.

Can't make it to Butte? Montana Public Radio will broadcast live from the Original Stage Friday and Saturday night. Tune in Friday at 7 p.m. for music and backstage interviews live from festival.
