Enjoy a week of classical music and classical music spinoffs during Festival Amadeus, August 6-12, 2018 in Whitefish.

The lineup of classical artists this year includes violinist Tim Fain, known for his appearance in "The Black Swan" film; Inbal Segev, a renowned cellist from Israel; Alon Goldstein, a pianist from Israel;  and Invoke, a string quartet with mandolin, banjo and voice mixed in.

  • Monday, August 6 - Amadeus Reception, “Meet the Soloists”
  • Tuesday, August 7  - Summer Pastoral, Orchestra Opening Night 1 at the Whitefish Performing Arts Center
  • Wednesday, August 8  - Invoke in Concert “Americana”, Chamber Cabaret 1 at the O’Shaughnessy Center
  • Thursday, August 9  - The Soldier’s Tale, Chamber Cabaret 2 at the O’Shaughnessy Center
  • Friday, August 10 - Power Trio – Fain, Segev, Goldstein Chamber Cabaret 3 at the O’Shaughnessy Center
  • Saturday, August 11 - Mozart & the Miracle, Orchestra Night 2 Whitefish Performing Arts Center
  • Sunday, August 12 - Heroic finale, Orchestra Night Finale Whitefish Performing Arts Center

Open rehearsals will be held throughout the week, and guest artists will share their stories in "Musical Journey" talks.

  • Monday, August 6, 3 p.m.: Ensemble and student recitals
  • Tuesday August 7, 3 p.m.: Musical Journey with violinist Tim Fain
  • Wednesday August 8, 3 p.m.: Musical Journey with cellist Inbal Segev and pianist Alon Goldstein
  • Thursday August 9, 3 p.m.: Musical Journey with Invoke string quartet
  • Friday August 10, 12 p.m.: Orchestra of Camp Festival Amadeus performs at Whitefish PAC
